Olimpia has ten years of experience working in social services in Canada and on socio-political/environmental issues in Latin America. Through these activities, she has developed strong abilities to effectively engage with a varied range of organizations and communities throughout the Americas. These skills, combined with her experience in translation and interpretation make for accurate, timely and culturally appropriate assignments using Spanish, English and French.

Olimpia’s translation and interpretation work is framed by three guiding principles:

  • promoting the advancement of human rights, social and environmental causes
  • working in close partnership with clients to ensure a common and realistic understanding of the task at hand, cost and deadlines
  • devoting as much time and effort as needed to effectively research pertinent information that will produce the highest quality translation/interpretation
